What is Curiosity
Curiosity is a Mars rover with a mission to see if Mars was or is suitable for life. Curiosity also explores Mars to learn more about its environment. Curiosity was created by the Mars Science Laboratory and was launched by NASA. Curiosity is about the size of of a small SUV and its weighs about 2,000 pounds.

Who Created Curiosity And When was It Launched?
Curiosity was made by NASA for its Mars Science Laboratory mission. The manufacturers part of building Curiosity were Boeing, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Lockheed Martin. Curiosity was launched on November 26, 2011 and landed on Mars on August 6, 2012, it costed 2.5 billion US dollars to make and launch into outer space. The weight of the launch was 8,464 lbs and the rocket that carried Curiosity was Atlas V. As of 22 January, 2017 Curiosity has covered about 15.30 km or 9.51 miles on the Martian terrain.
